When I was in high school, our choir sang this every year to close the Christmas Concert with the lights out and us holding candles (battery-operated ones as I recall). I have loved the words to this song ever since, and it brings back many fond memories of singing with my friends. The Show Choir sang the “Silent Night” part that I have the flutes playing, and while I debated about singing that part also, I’m really happy with it this way. I hope you are blessed by the song, and that you are warmed by the Holy Spirit’s presence.

I couldn’t find a place to link to with the lyrics, but here at Daniel Kantor’s website there is some interesting information about the song’s inspiration.
